Our collaboration with Creo
Slowly, over a period of four years Lola and I connected with a team of people who helped us realize our vision for intentional, comfortable loungewear. Our aim for this extension of JL was to create sustainably, and in a way that spoke to us — from sourcing deadstock fabrics, to working with a custom pattern maker as well as local artisans to craft something special—
Inspired by vintage photographs we wanted to offer a customization of special images taken by myself and Lola, and which were screen printed by hand here in Los Angeles.
To celebrate, we will be screen printing four different images to be featured on a limited number of garments. Once they are sold, we will not be reproducing— so first come first serve. Our goal is to create unique one-of-a-kind pieces and this ensures that sentiment. These images might be reworked as an “unique-printed-tag” for the JL brand… but without getting too far ahead of ourselves, we are excited to introduce this collaboration and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Lounge wear that feels personal.

Photographs that were taken over a span of 40 years,
01, Lola - cradled
02, Lola - stretched on floor
03, Jack - twisting on floor
04, Model - Model bending down exposing genitals between legs.
These images are comprised of self-portraits (01, 02, Lola) (03, jack) (04, model) each self portrait was taken their 20’s — and is symbolic of their creative pathways— the final image, is from a series photographed by jack of a model exposing himself to camera in an intimate or revealing way, while ultimately at the same time revealing nothing.
This is symbolic for us, as these photos appear to be taken with the intention to reveal ourselves, and yet, they almost do the opposite.
showcasing versions of ourselves that no longer exist— by printing these images we give meaning back to ourselves, to exist as something beautiful again. -
Every print will be offered on any available sizing ranging from
XS - L
